[Blog] Covid-19: suggestion for a three-minute silence on Sunday at NOON for ALL MAURITIANS

This is to share my point of view regarding World's Invisible Enemy.

Every action that is being done by the authorities and the population at large is one aspect. 7 deaths is already a high rate for Mauritius.

Most Mauritians are getting lots of spare time and are having a break from our routine daily life. Two months back, everybody was focused only on work and mainly how to make more money. Today, it's different, except for few addicted money minded people.

The another aspect which I believe is important for all the Mauritians is the spiritual side of the Pandemic.

I will suggest that the government announces  a three-minute silence on Sunday 05/04/20 at NOON for ALL MAURITIANS.

During these 3 minutes, we can:

  • 1. mourn for all victims of the pandemic, specially for our compatriots,
  • 2. realise our mistakes/bad deeds and ask for forgiveness.
  • 3. pray that the world is get well quickly from this Virus
  • 4. make resolutions for our future

Spiritually speaking, this will boost up our minds, specially, those who are not thinking seriously about the bad consequences on our future.

As Mauritians are firm believers in the POWER OF GO, I SIMPLY WANT US TO UNITE OUR FAITH TO SPARE US FORM THE WORST.

I hope that my message will be considered and thanking you beforehand.
